Teams
“Form a Flock”! Ramp up the fun and raise additional funds by teaming up with co-workers, friends or
family as a team. Gather a minimum of 5 individuals and you have a team! Complete a registration for each team
member by noon on Friday, October 23rd. Team members can register online and do not need to participate in the
same event.
Prizes will be awarded to the largest team (each individual must register AND identify themselves as a member
of the team by noon on Friday, October 23rd).
“Friend Raising”
Help United in Pink raise additional funds by asking your friends and family to support you in the
Run/Walk. Just fill out a
Friend-Raising form and submit it with donations to United in Pink or have
your supporters register their donations online (on behalf of your team or yourself).
Funds received by 12:00 noon on Friday, October 23rd eligible to compete for the most funds

Event Information
Celebrate breast cancer survivors and their families at United in Pink's 2nd Annual Flamingo Fest 5K Run/Walk at
historic Wesleyan College. There will be plenty of entertainment for the whole family from food vendors to local
artisans and a spectacular Kids Zone. At United in Pink we are committed to enhancing the quality of life for
breast cancer survivors and their families by helping them live and cope with their diagnosis today.
Come support our LOCAL families and be UNITED IN PINK!
The 5k is a chip-timed race. 5k race results will be posted on unitedinpink.org. No pets, please. Strollers are allowed at the back of the race pack.
Parking
Event parking is accessed from Wesleyan's second entrance on Tucker Road, coming from Forsyth Road. It is the
large parking area behind Wesleyan's Porter Auditorium. Signs and balloons will mark the entrance.
Please note: Wesleyan's front entrances will be blocked for the race route.
- October 22nd, 9 am-2 pm: Pickup at United in Pink, 102-A Preston Court.
- October 23rd, 4 pm-7 pm: Pickup at Wesleyan College, Swann Porter Bldg.
- Race Day, 7 am-8:30 am: Pickup at Wesleyan College near the race start
