Event Information
The Rambling Road Race is an out & back race to be held May 11, 2013 in Macon, Ga.. The race will start at 8 a.m. in Central City Park
with participants running through Historic Downtown Macon and Vine-Ingle neighborhoods. The race will also feature live music on stages
along the route.
Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female runners in various age groups. Prizes will also be award for the best male and female "Rock Star" costumes.
The race course is a challenging route through scenic and historic Macon. On the route, runners can enjoy the view of beautifully restored historic homes, neighborhoods and parks. The race is a non-qualifier and there will be a three hour time limit for finishing the route.
If running isn't your game, no worries! We encourage family and friends of runners to dress in "Rock Star" costumes and cheer for the runners.
Following the race, The Big House will host an evening concert in the Charles H. Jones Pavilion starting at 3 p.m. There will also be activities for the children and young at heart! This is a family friendly event.
Race packets can be picked up at The Big House (2321 Vineville Ave) May 8th-10th from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or at Central City Park the morning of the race. The race will be held rain or shine and there will be no refunds issued for this event.
